What is that bubble sometimes seen surrounding the skier?

Whenever you crash into an obstacle, you are given a few seconds of invulnerability. As soon as the bubble shield disappears, you're on your own again!

I've crashed into a [tree/rock/log] and can't seem to get moving again.

Getting back up after a crash is as easy as a single tap.

How do I avoid logs and other obstacles?

Instead of moving your skier around the object, try jumping over them. A lot of new players don't realize jumping is available. Not only that, its quite useful on the ramps!

3-D VECTOR BALL™

I'm trying to play a network game but my friend can't connect.

For two-player mode, Vector Ball uses the Bonjour service to advertise itself on the network. This means you and your opponent must both be on the same local area network to start a game. Also, make sure you are both using the most current version of the game as different versions are incompatible with one another.

How do I serve? I've tapped all over the screen and nothing happens.

Tap anywhere on the screen when the paddle is over the ball to serve. Otherwise, deflecting the ball is just a matter of moving the paddle by tilting the screen.
